# GetAlternative

> The leaderboard of bid-to-rank leaderboards. Discover every site where you can pay your way to #1, and bid to list yours — the highest bid takes the top spot.

GetAlternative is a live, public leaderboard of bid-to-rank sites. Anyone can list a site by bidding in whole US dollars; the board ranks listings by bid, highest first. Taking #1 right now costs $2.

## How ranking works

- Bids are whole US dollars, minimum $1.
- The highest bid ranks first; on a tie, the older confirmed payment wins.
- Raising your own bid must add at least $1 and only charges the difference.
- Outbidding another listing costs its current bid plus $1.
- A bid buys placement on the board; a listing holds its rank until someone outbids it.
